Christmas peace to all

In a world of increasing crisis of all kinds, the Child who comes again to us this Christmas says one  word: Peace–peace in our hearts, between people we love and those who seem to be enemies, between ethnic groups, religions, and nations.

We receive this peace as gift, but the paradox is that we must desire and work for it, even as we open our hearts and hands to it.

Blessings of Christ’s peace to all in this country which so desperately needs to learn how to live with respect, justice and compassion for all.
