Jacques Batista, Port Elizabeth – Further to the appeal to have EWTN included on the roster of DStv channels, I have been watching EWTN for over a year on YouTube, for free.
Furthermore, I have the free EWTN app installed on my tablet as well as on Apple TV, which has replaced DStv in my life.
Although Apple TV costs a once-off fee of R3000, there are no monthly payments for channels that I do not watch, as is the case with DStv.
EWTN’s YouTube channel has a back catalogue of all programmes which I can watch whenever I wish to do so. DStv has become redundant in the light of live streaming television. Rather invest the monthly DStv subscription in better bandwidth and enjoy television of the future.
