A theologian will deliver a talk entitled “The Word of God in the Life of the Church” at the Pauline Conference Centre in Johannesburg on September 28.
Fr Michael Seheri, parish priest of Our Lady of the Rosary in Phiri, Soweto, lectures at St John Vianney Seminary in Pretoria.
He holds a licentiate and doctorate in sacred theology, specialising in sacred Scripture, from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome.
Fr Seheri’s lecture will be inspired by the Second Vatican Council’s document on Scripture, Dei Verbum. His talk will be followed by questions and refreshments.
