Former Govt Minister Helps the St Vincent de Paul Society
Fr Lawrence Mduduzi Ndlovu of Our Lady of Peace parish in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, expresses his gratitude to Nomvula Mokonyane after the former government minister came through with a full van of food parcels for the parish’s Society of St Vincent de Paul to distribute in the community.
“We have been overwhelmed with food shortages since this virus began,” said Fr Ndlovu.
“Our SVP team has been very busy and is running low on food to give to families who are going through difficulties during this time.” The food is distributed to people on the parish’s list of those who are in need of help, “and the many others we have found during this Covid-19 time”, he said.
