Big Walk at St Teresa’s School

Last week, the field at St Teresa’s Junior Primary School in Craighall Park was a sea of colours depicting the theme of “Our Beautiful World” as the Grade 00-3 girls came out in true Rosie spirit for their Big Walk.

Girls were seen walking, skipping and running while completing ten laps of 150m around the sports fields, to raise funds for the PTA.

Caitlyn Diemont, Daisy Brennan and Isla Norton (Grade 1) join forces at the Big Walk. Twins Jasmine and JuilianaTannous (Grade 1) jump for joy after completing their 10 laps around the field.

In keeping with safety protocols, each grade walked at half-hour intervals, with masks and social distancing in place, while their teachers crossed off each lap. We are so proud of our Rosies for their enthusiasm and successfully completing all their laps.

Sienna Corsaro leads the Grade 2s at the start of their Big Walk. Thato Manne and Aarya Chiba (Grade 3) walk their final lap together.
