The new Marriage & Family Life Office (MFLO) has opened in the Archdiocese of Johannesburg. The MFLO begins this great mission right in the midst of the “Amoris Laetitia Family” Year, instituted by Pope Francis, which started on the 19th of March and ends on the 26th of June 2022.
The launch of this mission is rooted in ‘Synod 2019’ and its resolutions around marriage and family life. The synod panel of experts recognised the need for a functional office and, together with new members. The Archdiocese of Johannesburg now forms its Marriage & Family Life Committee (MFLC) serving together with the MFLO to transform the family of the home, of the church and of God
