Ethiopian and Eritrean Catholic community members Mitiku Abose Shomore (bridegroom) and Birtukan Tumoro Debiso (bride) were married in Holy Rosary parish in Ivory Park, Tembisa. Their marriage celebration was officiated by community national Chaplain Fr Joseph Yakob Guduno and assisted by parish priest of Holy Rosary, Fr Celestin Bela MSC.
The nuptial Mass was held in their home native language, Amharic. The bride and groom come from the same parish of St Hanna Sadama in Ethiopia.
Their marriage preparations was done by Fr Guduno, group leaders and facilitated by Community National Coordinator Acolyte Hailu Adalo.
