The Southern Cross visited St Martin de Porres parish in Sunnyside, Pretoria. Parish priest Fr Sefiri Motsepe and the parishioners gave a warm welcome to the magazine. The Southern Cross was recently reintroduced to the parish in its present form as a magazine.
“It’s wonderful to have the Southern Cross back in our parish. The last time we had it, it was still a weekly newspaper. The sales are going well. Our parishioners love the magazine’s wide variety. It’s also a great resource for education on a wide range of topics about the Church,” said Mr Sepanya Mahlanu, the Southern Cross seller at the parish.
