St Phillip Benizi church in Meyerton, Johannesburg, honoured the elderly of the parish by hosting a Christmas lunch on December 9. There was Christmas Carol singing and a very insightful interactive session on what Christmas means to all. It was a trip down memory lane of the many traditions which are sometimes missed nowadays and a great time of fellowship. Each elderly parishioner who participated was blessed with a gift. The parish’s Outreach Programme group would like to thank all who assisted in making the day special. (Submission and photos by Elaine Prosper)
