Assumption Novena 6 Aug to 14 Aug – 9 days in anticipation of the Feast of the Assumption on the 15th. Why do Catholics pray Novenas? Novenas are 9 days of prayer rooted in the nine days of prayer the apostles spent in the upper room between Jesus’ Ascension and Pentecost. They are a special way to ask for special intentions and graces.🙏
