Caritas Heads Up Flood Relief Mission in KwaZulu-Natal

Caritas Durban went on a fact-finding and flood relief mission throughout stricken areas meeting community members and bringing with them prayers and parcels for those affected. The Church and the Archdiocese of Durban were represented by Archbishop of Durban Siegfried Mandla Jwara CMM and Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Peter Wells.

The initiative was covered by the SABC and helped to give exposure both to the plight of the people and the great mission of CARITAS. Some areas visited were: Lamontville Parish , Bethlehem Parish , Mzinyathi Traditional Authority.
