Two Priests Ordained for the Archdiocese Of Pretoria

“Hear us, we beseech you, Lord our God, and pour out on these your servants the blessing of the Holy Spirit, that these men, who are to be consecrated to your service, may be surrounded by your rich and unfailing grace. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
This was the special prayer made by the auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Pretoria John Selemela during his homily at the ordination of two Diocesan priests at the Church of the Beatitudes in Pretoria.

Deacons Tlhologelo Rapule and Thulani Madinda were consecrated to the priesthood at Holy Mass presided over by the Archbishop of Pretoria Dabula Mpako alongside Bishop Selemela and over fifty priests.

The Mass was attended by over a thousand of the faithful. Many among them were excited to see The Southern Cross, and asked for their photos to be taken for the magazine`s increasingly popular promotion campaign in the archdiocese of Pretoria.
