Well Done to Cecilia Molokwane and Netball SA

Congratulations to NETBALL SA president Cecilia Molokwane on South Africa’s successful hosting of the Netball World Cup. Molokwane, a devout Catholic, started playing netball at the Catholic Primary School and Tsogo High School in Mmakau Village, north of Pretoria. Both schools are part of the Most Holy Redeemer Mission in the village.
Molokwane was featured in the Southern Cross in February last year, alongside her fellow Tsogo High School alumni, businessman Patrice Motsepe.
The SA netball team came sixth in the fiercely-contested tournament. It was the first time that netball’s pinnacle event was held on African soil.
