The Southern Cross attended the 2024 SACBC plenary session press briefing at Khanya House in Pretoria. Cardinal Stephen Brislin, who led the briefing alongside SACBC president Bishop Sithembele Siphuka, commended the Catholic media present, and The Southern Cross for “acting as the solitary media platform across our region dedicated to teaching and informing the faithful about the joy and sanctity of their Catholic faith”.
