Does God Deliver on What He Promises?
By James Katende – Absolutely. God delivers on what He promises. The problem is never His faithfulness; it’s often our impatience.
From Genesis to Revelation, we see one unbroken thread: God keeps His word. He may not move on our timeline, but He always moves on His, and His timing is always perfect.
When God gives a promise, it’s not based on emotion — it’s backed by His character. He is not a man that He should lie. He doesn’t overpromise or underdeliver. What He speaks, He will fulfil. We can build our entire lives on His word, and we will never be disappointed in His faithfulness.
Abraham waited decades for his promise, but God delivered. Joseph went from the pit to the palace, but only after years of injustice and pain. David was anointed king long before he ever wore a crown. The delay is not denial — it’s often divine preparation. God works in the waiting. And just because you don’t see it yet doesn’t mean He isn’t doing it.
Our role is to believe, to stand, and to hold fast. The promises of God are yes and amen in Christ. If He said it, He will do it. It may not happen the way you thought, but it will happen exactly the way it should. He’s a promise-keeper, not a promise-breaker. Trust that.
