The latest offering from this Christian rock group that provided the perfect soundtrack to the über surfer-chick movie Blue Crush, Testify delivers on all fronts.

The album features a blend of rock and alternative sounds with Bob Marley-esque twists in places, preventing them from sounding too much like Linkin Park. The Orthodox Jewish reggae-rapper Matisyahu even makes a surprise appearance.

Testify keeps you tuned in, moving smoothly with enough innovation to make skipping tracks a bad idea; you run the risk of missing something great.

The lyrics are powerful and the words to Let You Down are downright haunting, but for a brilliant example of spiritual upliftment through music put Strength of my life on loop now.
