Women Speak to Women Event at Rivonia Parish in Johannesburg

Several speakers are lined up for a Women’s month event at Rivonia parish in Johannesburg on August 24.
The event, hosted as a fundraiser by the parish’s Catholic Women’s League, takes as its theme, “Women: No fear, No Favour.”
Speakers will include theologian Dr Nontando Hadebe and family activist Mahadi Buthelezi.
Dr Hadebe will speak on the theme, “Brought low yet rising: The stories of women — drawing from our own wells”. Ms Buthelezi, a Southern Cross columnist, will speak on “Marriage, Family and Communication”.
Marija Ruygrok, a spiritual director, entrepreneur and life coach, will title her talk “Leap of faith”.
Phumelele Ndumo, a successful financial advisor and author of the South African bestseller From Debt to Riches, will be speaking about “seven fears that every woman should not have about money”.
The Women’s Day event will be held on August 24 from 10:30 to 15:00 at Our Lady of Lourdes hall in Rivonia. Tickets cost R120.
