Marist Brothers Linmeyer High School held the Grade 8 Ringing-In Ceremony to mark the end of their orientation week.
In keeping with tradition, each Grade 8 student rang the Bell of Hope, symbolising their official welcome to High School.
Grade 8s will once again ring the Bell of Hope after writing their final examination in Matric. After each student rang the bell, they all lit a candle and received a blessing from Father Eduardo Gabriel CS. To conclude the ceremony, the Grade 8s joined the rest of the school in singing the school war cry.
