Marist Brothers Linmeyer Dressing of the Holy Cross
Marist Brothers Linmeyer Primary School hosted a Paraliturgical ceremony of Dressing of the Holy Cross. This ceremony involves placing various symbols around the Holy Cross that are specific to our Lord Jesus Christ’s trial, suffering and crucifixion on Good Friday. Most symbols have corresponding bible verses and explanations that are read with them. It is an annual, solemn event commemorated by the Primary School children before the start of Holy Week.
