Bishop Neil Frank to bless new Chapel in Mariannhill Diocese

The Chapel of the Holy Family at Sacred Energizing Centre will be blessed on 5 November at 10:00 am by Bishop Neil Augustine Frank of Mariannhill Diocese.
Sacred Energizing Centre is the training component of the Sacred Connections Venue which is situated on Shabalala Road, Mtamthengayo, Zwelibovu (Road D 1029).
Mtamthengayo was an area ravaged by Violence during the 70s and many people at that time had fled their homes to other areas. The (Late) Nduna of the area, Nduna Ndulini has over the last ten years been inviting people to return and where there has been no interest in returning to the place, he has invited new people to reside. It was important to invite people as this area had literally no services as the Municipality would not supply services where there are under two hundred people.
Sacred Energizing Centre has started as an initiative in the area to bring healing and wholeness to Mind, Body and Spirit for people in the Inner West region. We have been bombarded with negativity and depression over the state of our country, especially in the last three years with Covid, Looting and floods in our region. Sacred Energizing Centre’s initiative is to bring hope, change mindsets, and develop our skills, instead of allowing the situation to overwhelm us.
Sacred Connections is opening the Chapel of the Holy Family to the Local Catholic Community for services. The Church in the area was burnt down during the time of the violence.
The Chapel is the first stage of our journey; we plan to extend to have accommodation for visitors, a hall and a restaurant.
Our aim is for all people to experience LIFE in all its fullness.
We offer courses and training around some of the following topics for both Youth and Adults: “Who am I “, “Mind Power”, “Lord Teach us to Pray “, “What is my God Given Calling”, “My Healing Journey”, “Parenting 101”, “Financial management”, “Retreats” and “Team Building”.
