Global Network for Religious Community Meeting
The Global Network for Religious Community (GNRC) met on October 19. The learners, including Holy Family College High School learners supported by Religious Education teacher Mrs Stephenson, discussed dignity and eradication of poverty. They discussed speaking up for the rights of all, establishing a system of accountability and the importance of a report back on progress made.
It was agreed that learners are citizens of South Africa and need to be heard and seen and that apathy is a thing of the past. They were encouraged by guest speaker, Dr Paul who spoke to their hearts, challenging them to make a difference.
