Marist Brothers Linmeyer in partnership with Cancer Association of South Africa’s (CANSA) hosted the annual Shavathon fundraising event at The Glen. Shoppers and their families and friends shaved, colour sprayed and cut their hair to support cancer survivors. Adults contributed a fee of R50 for either hair cut, spray or shaved while children under 12 years contributed R25.

Some shoppers also made monetary donations and two shoppers donated 25 cm of their hair towards cancer patients. It was a special event, filled with generosity. Marist Brothers Linmeyer extends gratitude to everyone (barbers, staff, alumni and students) who selflessly gave their time to support this wonderful initiative.
