Maris Stella Taizé Service for World Peace
Maris Stella School held a Taizé Service for World Peace on October 17 in their Chapel, setting aside the distractions of life, with a shared purpose of seeking solace and divine guidance from God’s Light and Peace.
Maris Stella explained: ” Through the repetitive and enchanting songs of Taizé, heartfelt prayers and scripture, we connected to God who filled us with His Peace. It is through this inner state of Peace that we can become real ‘Peace-Makers,’ actively fostering harmony within our own communities and contributing to the creation of a more peaceful world.
The service emphasised the significance of cultivating peaceful thoughts, words, and deeds, and reminded us that, even amid turmoil, there is solace to be found in turning our hearts towards God and actively working towards peace.
As we earnestly seek World Peace, we believe that God, in His infinite wisdom, will respond to our collective plea.”
