Multi-Parish Divine Mercy Celebration at Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Sasolburg

Procession of Divine Mercy

The Knights of da Gama Council 6 invited several Parishes within the Vaal Deanery to celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday at Our Lady Assumed into Heaven in Sasolburg, Diocese of Kroonstad. It is envisaged that this celebration will continue annually whereby each Parish will have the opportunity to host this prayerful event.

Grand Knight, Thabang Zwane encouraged all to continue praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet which is a powerful prayer. He also conveyed his gratitude to Chaplain Fr Malvin Ngi MHM and the speakers of the day, Lucy Mapaseka Letho and Mammuso Elizabeth Makoa, for the motivational talks.

The programme was as follows: Procession, Blessing of Divine Mercy Images, Recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and Benediction. Motivational talks were held at the celebration on the relationship between the Eucharist and Divine Mercy and the Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy of our Lord and Saviour.
