Prepare Now for Christmas Charity!
JM Thomson, Johannesburg – With Christmas approaching quite soon, individuals or Church groups will want to do extra to help the needy.
Shelters for street children or homeless people need soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, face clothes, nail brushes, hair combs, and so on.
New or clean second-hand towels and handkerchiefs are also useful.
They also need dishwashing liquid, scourers, kitchen cleaners, kitchen clothes, toilet cleaner, toilet paper, and so on.
Donors can start now looking out for specials on of these items. It may be cheaper to buy them now than nearer to Christmas.
If each parishioner who can afford it donates just one item, it would help the people living in these shelters.
