Avril Hanslo, Rest in Peace
Today The Southern Cross mourns the death at 69 of Avril Hanslo, who served us as subscription manager and in other administrative roles from 1995-2015. Avril passed away after a long illness in the evening of Thursday, October 7. For 20 years, the parishioner of St Mary of The Angels in Athlone, Cape Town, diligently made sure that weekly Southern Cross editions would go out in time.
Our prayerful condolences go to her husband Jeffrey, her children Monique, Wayne and Gavin, her sister Pamela Davids and surviving brothers, and six grandchildren.
