Marist Matrics: Ringing the Bell and Donating their School Shoes
Grade 12 students from Marist Brother Linmeyer have been ringing out The Bell of Hope after writing their final exam paper. The ringing-out of the bell after donating their school shoes marks the end of each Matric’s High School journey.
“This is a tradition we hold very close to our hearts because we remember those who don’t have what our students have – school shoes,” said Mr Gary Norton, High School Principal. Matric students had mixed emotions; they were excited to have finished writing their final exam paper but also nervous about life after school.
