Join Little Eden residents in ushering in the Christmas spirit

After a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 virus pandemic, Little Eden Society is pleased to invite members of the public to its annual Christmas Concert which will take place at Elvira Rota Village in Bapsfontein on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 November from 10 am.

Entrance to the concert is free of charge!

The concert is one of the highlights of the year at Little Eden where the residents prepare for months to showcase their new skills learned and developed throughout the year. Friends and benefactors of the Society come from all over to be part of these special performances and the residents look forward to the applause and encouragement from the audience.

This year, the theme of the concert is “A Star is Born” which will include several different acts and end with a short nativity scene. The Christmas concert practice is used as part of the stimulation therapy programme, especially the singing and dancing,which our residents really love and enjoy.

After the concert, visitors will have an opportunity to browse through our Christmas market and support us as there will be interesting items on sale including refreshments. Visitors will get a chance to meet the residents as well as take a guided tour of the facility. If you are interested in taking a tour of our facilities in Bapsfontein, don’t forget to bring comfortable shoes and a sun hat as there is a wetland and plenty of nature to experience.

Little Eden is Home to 300, mostly previously abandoned, children and adults with profound intellectual disability and in the spirit of Christmas, we are requesting contributions towards Christmas Gifts for our residents so that they too can receive a gift from Santa Clause.
