Edward “Ted” Brown from St Paul’s Parish in Somerset West celebrated his 100th birthday at a Mass said by Fr Paul Taylor. “Ted is a beloved member of the parish, and always full of jokes. He has a very sharp mind and can tell you things he recalls very clearly from the past. Thanks be to God for such a gentleman”, said fellow parish member Schalk Visser.
