Pope Asks for Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a message Pope Francis has preached to us quite often. In mid-April, Pope Francis found himself asking for forgiveness from Chilean survivors of clergy of sexual abuse.

In one of his columns, Fr Ron Rolheiser OMI mentions the reason for Jesus’ agony in the garden. He says that it was not easy for Jesus to link with a divine source outside himself in prayer. He then concludes that this was the reason for his agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.

US Catholic School Removes Cosby Name from Building

St Frances Academy in Baltimore has removed the name of its “Drs. Camille and Bill Cosby Community Center” after Bill Cosby was convicted on three counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman. The letters on the building came down the same day.
