Music Legends for Our Lady of Lebanon Festival
A Maronite parish in Johannesburg will feature South African music legends when it celebrates its 18th annual Family Festival on May 26.
The festival at Our Lady Of Lebanon parish in Mulbarton, southern Johannesburg, has two aims: to commemorate the inauguration of the parish, and to raise funds for various charities, outreach initiatives and parochial projects.
Our Lady of Lebanon is building a high school on the property to complement the primary school, and funds will also go to completing of the high school.
Heading the entertainment bill are music legends Victor and the Rasta rebels as well as house music band Mi Casa.
The big prize in the raffle is a Ford Figo (tickets will be on sale on the day or can be purchased from the church office directly).
There will be much food and entertainment at the festival, which will be held on May 26 after 10:00 Mass at the parish’s grounds in Bolugom Crescent, Mulbarton. Entrance is R50 for adults, R30 for pensioners and R20 for children.
