Ethiopian Priest Fr Zemede Ashebo, Rector of St Mary Major Seminary of Sodo And Hosanna Vicariates, visited the Ethiopian and Eritrean Catholic Community in South Africa from Addis Ababa in July.
On his visit, He provided pastoral care and counselling including Mass Celebrations in various parishes: Holy Rosary parish in Tembisa, St Francis of Assisi parish in Yeoville, Sacred Heart Glenpark and Most Holy Redeemer parish in Rustenburg, Tsogong parish in Bodibe, St Patrick’s parish in Swellendam and Nazareth House St Joseph Chapel in Yeoville.
Fr Ashebo also held a Memorial Service of our group members’ late Father at Home in Rustenburg, and Bible Study in Tembisa. He encouraged the community to keep up their Catholic Faith and Christian values as strong Catholics.
