The newly elected Grade 11 Leaders and House Captains from St Teresa’s School in Rosebank attended the Catholic Schools Leadership Day hosted by Brescia House School on September 9. The day was filled with informative and engaging talks that promoted looking at leadership differently and equipped all those attending with practical steps to take to become effective servant leaders for their schools.
St Teresa’s School pupils also had the opportunity to network with students from other Catholic schools in breakaway sessions. In these sessions, they had discussions on various questions about what leadership in a school really means and how to overcome challenges they may face in their leadership roles.
It was a day well spent that left our new leaders inspired and confident for the year ahead.
