Southern Cross Visit to Overberg Parish, Cape Town
The Southern Cross visited two communities belonging to Overberg Parish in the Catholic Archdiocese of Cape Town namely St Paul’s in Somerset West and St Stephen’s in Macassar. Fr Godfrey Solomon and parishioners gave us a warm welcome! Some thought The Southern Cross no longer existed but were very happy to hear it is still available. At St Paul’s Somerset West, we met a gentleman who is 103 years old and he recalled how he sold The Southern Cross 50 years ago.
