This was well attended by approximately 60 ladies and was a huge success as many shared their experiences of the time spent together.

Lizzie Esteves, a Parishioner of St Francis and a Eucharistic Minister, was the guest speaker. The talk and testimony were profound and inspiring. It was about time spent in prayer, from our waking moment to giving thanks and how to interact with God in our daily living from scripture reading, praying and through song, praising and worshipping God Almighty. ‘Goodness of God’, was a song that resonated with all as they joined in singing.

Our Lady, was given reverence, as our Mother who is always there for us and from whom we learn, our huge source of inspiration!

Such encouragement regarding the role that women in the Bible were known for and touching on the current times of the remarkable nature of a woman.

Two learners from Emfulenipark Primary also joined in and captured the attendee’s attention by what they shared, one being that of her mom as a superhero whilst the other shared the various roles exhibited by each member of her family and how essential family life is, with ‘mom’ being the one who holds all together.

It was a fun-filled time with a quiz held, snacks shared and networking, with attendants each receiving a gift. Our heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors and those who attended.
