Marfam is taking up the focus of The Year of St Francis in the FAMILIES AND LENT booklet LOVE IS HIS LAW, LOVE IS HIS WAY.
The well-known SEE-JUDGE-ACT approach, which can also be seen as a synodal way of faith sharing, is used. The contents consist of the THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY, which are also published on www.marfam.org.za day by day, emailed to subscribers and posted on social media. They are mostly based on the life of St Francis taken from his biographers.
The JUDGE section consists of short extracts from the scripture of the day and from the documents of Pope Francis and Pope Leo. ACT. Action and Prayer suggestions complete the process for deepening the spirituality of family life while also promoting an eco-family friendly focus. Aimed primarily at families at home it can be used be individuals and groups too as it is good to remember that everyone is a family person after all. The cost of the booklet is R30.
