Salt+Light interviews Cardinal John Onaiyekan of Abuja, Nigeria

The violence threatens to unsettle coexistence in the country, which is evenly divided between Christians and Muslims. Shepherding the faithful through this pastoral reality is Cardinal John Onaiyekan, the Archbishop of the Nigerian capital of Abuja and one of the Church’s newest Cardinals. Cardinal Onaiyekan shares how the New Evangelisation is possible, even in a divided nation like his own.
