The Church has 13 New Cardinals!
Signs of Hope – Pope Francis created 13 new cardinals yesterday during the consistory in St Peter’s Basilica. Choosing prelates from 13 different nations – eight of whom belong to religious orders – the pope had said he wanted to signal “the missionary vocation of the church that continues to proclaim the merciful love of God to all men and women of the earth.”
