Brescia House Gives Thanks to their Community

Brescia House School Grade 8 pupils packing Thank You packs for the school Support Staff

As part of Catholic Schools week 2021, Brescia House School worked on ‘thanking our community, internally and externally’. The Grade 8 pupils brought in freshly baked cupcakes and biscuits that were packed into ‘Thank You’ packs to be presented to the Brescia House School Support Staff. The ladies and gentlemen, who work tirelessly to keep the school environment clean and sanitised, were delighted to be able to arrive home to their families bearing delicious goods.

Brescia House School girls and pedestrians sharing in community spirit

On Wednesday, the school once again teamed up with Pick ‘n Pay Epsom Downs to serve freshly baked Chelsea buns to passers-by. The Brescia House School pupils were out bright and early on the fresh, sunny morning, ready to greet pedestrians and offer them a delicious, warm treat.

Pick ‘n Pay generously matched Brescia’s donations one-for-one. The school purchased 250 Chelsea buns, and Pick ‘n Pay then donated a further 250. It was a wonderful morning seeing the community come together and serving each other.
