Maris Stella School had a memorial service for the repose of the soul of Fr Peter Lafferty C.S.Sp, former chaplain to the school. He had served Maris Stella for 15 years and recently suffered a brief illness, forcing him to return to his native Scotland where he passed.
He was active in the Archdiocese of Durban and fulfilled many roles including Chaplaincies to Maris Stella, UKZN Durban-Westville, Marriage and Family Life, Refugee Pastoral Care.
