By Lerato Thato Thankge – Father’s Day was an absolutely beautiful day at Emmanuel Parish in Sebokeng. This is the day that allows us to celebrate the men that love us so well. The best dads shape our lives, support our dreams and speak the truth of God’s word. On Father’s Day, we honour different male role models like daddies, step-fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, godfathers and friends. Mothers prepared a Father’s Day lunch on Sunday, June 18 for all fathers to acknowledge their love and hard work. They also expressed their appreciation for parish priest Fr Lucas Bambezela OFM by showering him with gratitude. Fathers enjoyed the day and felt valued and loved. Happy Father’s Day to all daddies out there, you are doing a lot of good work.
