SA Bishops Meet Pope on Ad Limina Visit

Bishops of South Africa, Botswana and Eswatini managed to meet Pope Francis on the day he was discharged from hospital, after his hernia surgery. Bishops spent an hour with the pope at Domus Sanctae Marthae in the Vatican, where he lives. Bishops of the Southern African Catholic Bishops Conference visited Rome June 12-17 for their Ad Limina, which occurs every 5 years.
