The Southern Cross was at the installation service of King Patrick Banatso Motsepe in Mmakau Village, north-west of Pretoria on Sunday June 4. The king`s Thanksgiving Mass was held at the Most Holy Redeemer Mission in Mmakau Village. The Catholic king was installed as the Bakgatla-ba-Mmakau (a clan of the Batswana people) king on Saturday June 3.
