Archdiocese of Cape Town Chancery staff congratulated Cardinal-designate Stephen Brislin on his appointment. Bishop Sylvester David read from the congratulatory statement of Bishop Sithembele Sipuka on behalf of the SACBC and a prayer was said for the new Cardinal.
