The Southern Cross at Feast Of The Assumption Pilgrimage In Pretoria
The Southern Cross attended the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Mary Assumed into Heaven Church in Jonathan Village, west of Brits yesterday.
Mary Assumed into Heaven Church hosts the annual pilgrimage in celebration of the feast each August.
Many of the pilgrims were happy to see The Southern Cross at the pilgrimage. They expressed their surprise at seeing Southern Africa’s only Catholic publication.
“It’s a pleasure to have The Southern Cross at this occasion. It’s also gratifying to see it in the format of a magazine,” Bernice Motau of St Joseph’s parish in Brits said.
