The Southern Cross was invited by Parish Priest Fr Lawrence Mota CMM and the PPC of Mater Dei Parish in Parrow Valley in the Archdiocese of Cape Town to visit. All parishioners were given a free back copy of the Southern Cross and the Extra-Ordinary Ministers of Communion took copies to the elderly and sick of the parish and Tygerberg Hospital. Mater Dei parish has taken up the challenge to work towards doubling its present Southern Cross sales and to have the most magazines sold in the Deanery.👼. Also pictured is David de Caires e Freitas of St Peter’s Parish in Strand, who is awaiting diaconal ordination on his journey to Priesthood.
