What is the Message Jesus Wants us to Hear?
By James Katende – There is a message echoing through eternity, a message that has outlived empires, outlasted kingdoms, and transformed the lives of millions—the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.
It is not a tale told by men, nor a myth passed down through generations. It is the living truth of a loving God who stepped into human history to rescue a broken, lost, and dying world. This is not just another religion. This is not another set of rules or empty rituals. This is life. This is redemption. This is grace so powerful that it breaks every chain, lifts the heaviest burden, and lights up the darkest soul. This is the message every human heart is longing for—even when it doesn’t know what it’s missing.
From the beginning, mankind was created in the image of God, destined to walk in relationship with Him. But sin entered, severing that connection, corrupting the heart, and dragging the soul into darkness. And ever since, humanity has been searching—searching for peace, for hope, for meaning. Some look for it in money, others in power, pleasure, or fame. But none of these satisfy. They promise fulfilment, but only leave deeper emptiness. Yet, God in His mercy did not leave us in our broken state. John 3:16 tells us, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” This love is not selective. It is not limited by race, nation, or background. It is a love so wide, so deep, so strong, that it reached down into the pit to pull us out.
Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, came not to condemn the world, but to save it. He walked among us, healed the sick, raised the dead, embraced the rejected, and taught with authority. And then, the Lamb without blemish laid down His life on the cross—not as a victim, but as the ultimate sacrifice. The sin that kept us from God was placed on Him, and His blood was shed so that we might be free. Isaiah 53:5 declares, “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” The cross was not the end. On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death, hell, and the grave, offering eternal life to all who would believe.
This message is not just for the righteous. It is for the broken, the addict, the thief, the abuser, the ashamed, the hopeless. It is for those who have been hurt by religion and those who have never heard His name. It is for the person reading this who feels unworthy, unloved, or too far gone. Jesus didn’t die for perfect people—He died for the lost. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” That is the gospel. That is the miracle. And it is for *you*.
Salvation is not earned. It is received by faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” Right now, in this moment, wherever you are — He is calling your name. He is not calling you to religion, but to relationship. Not to performance, but to surrender. There is no sin too great, no shame too heavy, no past too dark for the light of Jesus to pierce through. He stands at the door of your heart and knocks. If you open it, He will come in and change everything.
This message is for every soul — young and old, rich and poor, believer and doubter. The time is now. The world is aching. People are dying without hope, and eternity is real. Heaven is real. Hell is real. And every soul matters to God. That’s why this message must be shouted from the rooftops, carried to every village, every city, every heart. Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. This is not a message of fear—it is a message of hope. It is the greatest invitation ever given. And if you respond to it, your name will be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and nothing—not death, not failure, not sin—can separate you from His love.
If you are reading this and your heart is stirring, don’t wait. Say yes. Surrender. Let Him in. Let Him take your pain, your guilt, your fear, and replace it with peace, joy, and eternal life. This is the message that will change your life forever—and the lives of millions who are still waiting to hear it. Let us carry it boldly, speak it fearlessly, and live it fully. For in Jesus Christ, every soul can find its true home.
Let us please strive to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
