Fun, Faith, and Fundraising Shine at Most Holy Redeemer Church in Mmakau
By Daluxolo Moloantoa – The Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Mmakau, northwest of Pretoria, hosted a Family Fun Day on Sunday as part of a fundraising initiative for the Archdiocese of Pretoria.
The day began with Sunday Mass. A number of parishioners and priests from nearby communities, including Ga-Rankuwa, were also present in support of the event.
Following Mass, a series of family-oriented activities took place on the church grounds. Children enjoyed games and a jumping castle, while food was served throughout the afternoon. Proceeds from the food sales contributed to the fundraising effort.
After lunch, music DJs entertained the crowd with a mix of golden oldies and current hits. Many attendees joined in the festivities, dancing and socialising as the day continued.
The event was a grand occasion for a worthy cause, combining faith, fellowship, and fun in support of the Archdiocese’s mission.
