St Agostina Petrantoni

St Agostina Petrantoni was canonised by Pope John Paul II in 1999. This Sister of Charity dedicated her life to caring for the critically ill. Her life was tragically cut short when one of her patients murdered her in 1894. She is the patron of abuse victims, against poverty and of nurses. Her feast day is November 13.
