Archbishop Emeritus George Daniel of Pretoria welcomed by children in 1978 during his arrival for Confirmations at Most Holy Redeemer Church in Mmakau, Pretoria. Over the course of his ministry, he presided over thousands of Confirmations, and today many mid- to late-aged adults in the Archdiocese of Pretoria recall with pride that they were Confirmed by him.
